Dillon's Story
Connect Pediatrics was founded by Ezra and Gina Kuenzi, RN who were inspired by their nephew, Dillon.
"In June 2006, our sweet nephew, Dillon, was born. Dillon was a healthy baby all the way up until birth, but during labor and delivery, there were complications that caused Dillon to go without oxygen for an extended period of time. As a result, Dillon suffered severe brain damage and now requires continuous skilled nursing care.
For many years our family struggled to find a reliable, compassionate pediatric home health care agency. We experienced firsthand the frustrations with substandard care, poor communication, and companies that didn’t seem to care. Based on our family’s experience, we were determined to start our own patient-centered pediatric home healthcare company."
Our Journey from 2014 to Today
In 2014, we started Connect with the simple goal of providing each patient with the same level of care that we would want for Dillon. With that goal in mind, we have focused not only on providing the highest level of clinical care but also on building and fostering meaningful relationships between our clinicians and patients' families.
Today, we provide services to families all across Texas, and for the past three years, we’ve been named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the US! More importantly, we’ve been able to build countless relationships, and provide support to hundreds of families through some of the most challenging times.
